Preserving Tradition, Inspiring Warriors

The Kalaripayattu Association of Goa is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and structured training of Kalaripayattu, India’s most ancient martial art. As an affiliate of the Indian Kalaripayattu Federation, the Olympic Council of India, and the Sports Ministry of India, we strive to provide authentic and professional training to students, athletes, and martial arts enthusiasts across Goa.

Ranjan Mullaratt

The association is led by Ranjan Mullaratt, a renowned Kalari master, writer, film director, and actor. He is also the director of the award-winning English movie "Look Back Beyond the Blades." Under his guidance, our students have achieved remarkable success in national and state-level competitions.

History of GKA

Founded by Late Adv. Poonthura Soman Gurukkal, GKA has grown into a recognized body representing Goa in national Kalaripayattu circuits under IKF.

Governing Body

GKA is managed by a team of senior Gurukkals, administrative professionals, and cultural ambassadors committed to martial arts excellence and youth empowerment.

Affiliations

Affiliated to the Indian Kalaripayattu Federation (IKF) — Recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, and supported by other state bodies.
